Should I buy a Canon Camera Lens or a Nikon Camera Lens?

How to Choose a Camera Lens ?
If you want to capture objects that are far from you then you must consider buying lens with higher focal length (say 200mm). On the other hand, if you just want to create wider shots with your DSLR then a lens with a lower focal length might be perfect for you (25mm for instance). Another important factor to consider is your camera’s sensor size. This is because a specific focal length produces different views on cameras with different sensor sizes.
Other factors to take into account are the maximum aperture (the larger the maximum aperture the more the lens can accumulate light), lens amount, and format type. Remember that lenses with larger maximum apertures always have lower numbers and vice versa.
